Gold reaches the room and says to Tunde, “Tell me, what do you need?”

Tunde thinks for a while, looks around, and then says, “Um… my meeting files for today… where did I keep them? I can’t find them.”

“Now how would I know where you kept your files? I don’t handle your office work. You always keep them with you, right?” Gold glared at him.

“Yes, but can’t you help me find them?”

“I didn’t say no. Just try to remember where you last kept them.”

“Do you seriously not use your brain?” Tunde glanced at her.

“Now what did I do?”

“What kind of question are you asking? If I remembered where I last kept them, I would have simply gone and picked them up from there!”

“Yes, but you must remember something, right? Without any clue, how will we find them in such a big room?”

“No, I don’t remember. I just know the file is somewhere in this room. You start looking for it.”

“And what will you do?”

“I’ll have some coffee.”

Tunde started to leave but when Gold glared at him, he came back into the room.

“Okay, okay, I’m searching too! Don’t look at me like that, it feels like you’re about to murder me right now.”

“Yes, if the law allowed one murder, I definitely would” Gold muttered under her breath.

“What??? What did you just say??” Tunde glared.

“What? Nothing at all.”

Both of them kept arguing while searching for the file but Tunde was just passing time because his file was never lost in the first place.

Meanwhile, Olamide had reached the office, and Aisha and Mother must have also arrived by now.

When they returned, Tunde started getting ready to go back to the office.

Seeing him suddenly get ready, Gold asked, “Wait, you still haven’t found the file. How will you go without it?”

“Um… well…” Tunde was confused for what to say now.

“What ‘well’?”

“Actually, Olamide just messaged me. The file is in the office, so we don’t need to search for it anymore.”

“What?? It was in the office the whole time and you made me search for it for two hours? 😊” Gold shouted.

“Sorry, sorry… thanks for your help. I’m leaving now, okay? Bye!”

Tunde immediately ran out of the room.

Before Gold could understand anything, he came back and said to her, “And listen, if it’s not necessary, don’t go outside the room. Do your work inside the room. And if you need to go out, go with Mother or Mom, okay? Bye.”

And then Tunde ran away again.

Gold didn’t understand anything, so she shouted, “What??? But why??”

But Tunde had already left without listening to her.

“Looks like he’s having a fit of madness. He has started acting so weird. Sometimes, I don’t even understand what he’s trying to say. Forget it, nothing new.”

Talking to herself, Gold went downstairs.

Seeing her alone, Raymond tried to approach her to start a conversation, but just then, Aisha called Gold to her room for some work.

By the evening, after finishing their meeting, Olamide and Tunde both returned home.

From inside the house, they could hear a lot of laughter and conversation so they looked at each other, wondering who had come to the house.

As soon as they stepped inside, Olamide was completely shocked by the sight in front of him.

Rita and her entire family was sitting on the sofa with the family all chatting and laughing together.

Tunde was also happy to see them but because of Olamide, he controlled and hid his happiness.

Olamide looked at Tunde with confused eyes. Tunde raised both his hands, signaling that he knew nothing about it.

Gold noticed them standing at the door and called them inside, offering them seats.

“Oh, you both are back! Good timing, everyone was just talking about you, Olamide.”

“Talking about me? Why?” Olamide was shocked.

“It’s your engagement! Of course, we’ll talk about you!” Daniel (Rita’s father) said with a laugh but Olamide didn’t respond and completely ignored him.

Seeing this, everyone understood how much anger Olamide still held against Daniel (Rita’s father), but for now, no one said anything.
