MARRIED TO A STRANGER EPISODE 14(PART A)

Tunde was visiting Amara's house with his family and was sitting in her room, listening to her talk.

Amara: "Look, Tunde, I want to tell you something... I'm in love with someone."

Hearing this, Tunde felt a twinge of sadness. He had started liking Amara and knew that his family liked her a lot too.

After all, Amara's father and Kunle Adeyemi had been very good friends for a long time. Both families had been planning to arrange Tunde and Amara's marriage. But Tunde didn't say anything and continued listening.

Amara: "In my first year of college, I met Nikhil George. We became friends and eventually fell in love. I liked him a lot, but..."

Tunde: "But?"

Amara: "But due to some reasons, things didn't work out between us, and we broke up after a few days. Many people in college knew about us. I even told my family about it, and they supported me. They explained things to me and told me about you... I've heard so much about your family. It's always in the newspapers. My alliance is being fixed with such a big family, and I don't want anything from my past to tarnish your family's name. That's why I decided to tell you everything beforehand."

Tunde quietly listened to her. Not hearing any response, Amara continued, "Look, if you have any objections, you can say no. I won't mind... anyway..."

"I like you." Tunde interrupted.

Amara looked at him, shocked. "What... really? You don't mind?"

Tunde: "No, everyone has a past. I appreciate that you were honest with me. But are you really ready for this marriage?"

In response, Amara just smiled at him.

Flashback ends.

Tunde stood in the balcony of his room, lost in thought. This was the first time he had fallen in love with someone, and that same person had betrayed him.

Yet, Tunde didn't want to give up. He wanted to know why Amara had left him. Somewhere deep down, he felt that he could still bring her back into his life.

No matter how much Amara had hurt him, Tunde still wanted to stand by her.

Perhaps, that's what love is - even when you have 100 reasons to let someone go, you keep searching for that one reason to hold on.

No matter how hard you try, the love in your heart never turns into hatred.

Suddenly, something came to Tunde's mind, and he snapped out of his thoughts. He immediately called Fred.

It was 12:30 AM, and Fred's phone was ringing. But Fred was peacefully snoring in his bed.

Tunde called him again, and this time, seeing "Tunde Sir" on the screen, Fred quickly sat up and answered the call.

"Yes, sir... what happened? Calling so late at night?"

"Why? Can't I call you? Do I need permission to call my employee now?" Tunde's rude tone made Fred nervous.

"No, sir... that's not it."

"Have you found anything about Amara?" Tunde directly asked.

"Amara Ma'am... uh... yes, I told Olamide Sir everything... did he not..." Fred, still groggy, accidentally said too much but immediately realized that Olamide had forbidden him to tell Tunde and went silent.

"You told Olamide, but he didn't discuss it with me?"

"Sorry, sir... Olamide Sir had asked me not to tell you."

Hearing this, Tunde hung up and headed straight to Olamide's room.

Meanwhile, Gold, who had been trying to sleep but couldn't, saw Tunde leaving the room. She sat up.

"Where's he going at this hour... running like a bullet? Is some storm brewing?"

"Should I follow him?"

"No, no... knowing him, he might already be halfway to Egypt by now. He's weird, and now he seems crazy too."

"This house is so big that if I step out alone, I might get lost."
After muttering to herself for a while, Gold decided not to follow Tunde....
