EPISODE 39: LOVE WAHALA IV[PART A]
Bowing her head, she softly said, “Yes, they loved me a lot and never let me cry… I was their princess!”
Gold became very sad while saying this. Tunde too, felt deeply hurt. But Gold quickly composed herself, wiped her tears and put on a fake smile.
Looking at Tunde, she asked, “By the way, where’s the akara?”
Tunde pointed towards the stall.
Gold looked in that direction and started getting out of the car, but then she realized that in a hurry, she had come to the parking without wearing sandals and sat in the car. The ground there was neither clean nor dry, so she sat back in the car.
Seeing this, Tunde asked, “What happened? Don’t you want to eat?”
“Well… I…” Gold hesitated.
“What happened?” Tunde asked again.
“Umm… Mr. Panla Face, I forgot to wear my sandals,” Gold said hesitantly.
Hearing this, Tunde looked at her feet. She was barefoot; she had indeed forgotten her sandals.
Seeing this, without thinking for a second… Tunde picked her up in his arms and stepped out of the car, heading towards the stall.
Gold was extremely shocked by Tunde’s action and started struggling to free herself. “Hey, let me go… Mother, save me… I’ll fall! What are you doing??”
“Shhh… Calm down. From now on, you’re my princess! And I’m taking this princess to fulfill her wish,” Tunde said, looking into her eyes.
Even though Gold was drunk, hearing such words from Tunde made her blush deeply and her heart started racing.
Tunde carried her straight to the stall. He still hadn’t put her down.
The vendor making the akara was staring at both of them, utterly confused about what was happening. Tunde was carrying Gold, said to the man, “Listen, make some tasty akara now. My wife is very hungry.”
Hearing this, the man understood it was a husband-wife matter. Muttering under his breath, he said, “Oh God! Men do such crazy things for their wives’ love!”
Tunde heard this and glared at the man, making him shut up immediately. The man quickly prepared a plate of akara and handed it to Gold.
Gold looked at Tunde as if trying to tell him to put her down, but Tunde ignored her.
“If you want to eat like this, than fine. Otherwise, I’ll take you back to the car and you won’t get to eat,” Tunde said firmly.
Hearing this, Gold immediately picked up an akara and popped it into her mouth.
As soon as she ate it, a big smile appeared on her face and she became extremely happy. Seeing this, Tunde felt very good.
He told the vendor, “Keep making akara until my wife is satisfied.”
The vendor, still recalling Tunde’s gun (now hidden in his pocket to keep it away from Gold), nodded quickly.
The vendor kept preparing more akara.
While sitting in Tunde’s arms, Gold was struggling to eat but knew very well that there was no point in arguing with him. He wouldn’t listen to anyone.
So, she quietly enjoyed her akara.
Finally, when she was full and satisfied, she looked at Tunde, placed her hand on her stomach and said innocently, “My stomach is full now. That’s enough…”
“Alright, then,” Tunde said and carried her back to the car, placing her on the passenger seat.
After settling Gold in the car, he went to the vendor again.
