Episode 26:RAINY EVENING(PART 2)

“Hey, your towel is inside! That’s mine. Give it back!”

Tunde: “I won’t. Stay outside and experience how cold it is out here.”

Gold said nothing, but Tunde’s shirtless look kept flashing in her mind—his wet hair, handsome face, and rain-soaked fit body.

Simply put, Tunde looked incredibly hot, and thinking about him made her blush.

But her wet hair was making her feel very cold.

After a while, Tunde quietly opened the door and handed the towel back.

While Tunde was changing, Gold searched for candles in a nearby drawer.

Tunde came out and both of them went to the hall, as it was less dark there. But night was approaching and the lights hadn’t come back yet.

Tunde sat on the sofa and asked Gold, “What would you like to eat? I’ll order something.”

Gold: “Why?”

Tunde: “For dinner.”

Gold: “Why order from outside? I can cook.”

Tunde: “How will you cook without lights?”

Showing him the candles in her hands, Gold said, “Now it won’t be dark.”

Tunde: “Alright, but if you don’t want to cook, I can order. You don’t need to put in the effort.”

Gold: “No, don’t worry. I’ll cook.”

Since Tunde didn’t like outside food much, he agreed and started working on his laptop while Gold went to the kitchen.

Even though the kitchen was a bit far from the hall, Tunde suddenly got up and sat at the dining table near the kitchen.

Seeing him sit there, Gold asked, “What happened? Are you scared too?”

Tunde: “What? Scared? Me? No way. I’m here so you don’t burn the food out of fear. If you have a problem with me sitting here, I’ll leave.”

Gold: “No, no… stay here.”

Gold wanted him to stay close, so she was happy and started preparing dinner.

Meanwhile, Tunde was working when Olamide called. Tunde picked up the call.

Olamide: “Hello Brother, Mother wants to talk to you.”

Olamide handed the phone to Mother.

Mother: “Hello Tunde, How’s everything there? It’s raining heavily here, so we’ll be late coming home.”

Tunde: “It’s raining heavily here too. Where are you all?”

Mother: “We stopped at a restaurant. Where’s Gold? Did you two eat?”

Tunde: “Gold’s in the kitchen, cooking dinner. The power is out, so I’m sitting nearby.”

Mother: “What happened to the generator?”

Tunde: “They’re fixing it. It’ll be done soon. Don’t worry. Take your time coming home.”

Mother: “Alright. Eat dinner and go to sleep. Don’t wait for us.”

Rita: “You’ve been watching too many movies lately. What kind of ideas are these?”

Olamide: “But Rita…”

Rita: “No buts… There’s nothing wrong with this. Call the security guard and explain.”

Finally, Olamide gave in and called the security head, explaining everything.

The three of them then returned to their dinner, satisfied with their plan.
