Episode 32

Amaka had planned a dirty conspiracy to humiliate Gold in front of everyone.

To execute her plan, she was taking Gold toward a room. But before she could send Gold inside, someone arrived and pulled Gold toward themselves.

Seeing the man standing in front of her, Amaka was startled and a little scared but pretending to be innocent, she said,

“Oh, Tunde… what are you doing here?”

Tunde: “Why are you bringing Gold here?”

Amaka: “Oh, her health isn’t good. I thought she could rest here for a while.”

Tunde: “What’s wrong with her?”

Tunde had tightly held Gold and when Gold tried to push him away, he held her even tighter, making Gold scold him, “Let me go! What are you doing? I don’t want to go anywhere with you. You’re terrible, let me go!”

Hearing her talk like this, Tunde found it strange. He made her stand in front of him. “Are you drunk?”

Gold pushed him and replied angrily, “What? Me? Drink? Not even in my dreams! You don’t even know me. I’ve never even touched alcohol and you’re accusing me? I only had juice.”

Tunde knew Gold well enough to know that she would never drink and something seemed fishy. He looked at Amaka suspiciously, “What’s going on, Amaka? Tell me the truth about what happened to Gold.”

Amaka: “What? You’re doubting me? What does this have to do with me?”

Tunde: “Then why were you taking her to this room?”

Amaka: “I already told you, she wasn’t feeling well. I thought she could rest here and I was going to come to you to tell you about it. Come on. A great time”

Just then, Gold grabbed Tunde’s hand and, in a drunken state, said, “This witch-like girl is horrible, Panla Face. She told me I’m not good enough for you, and she said you’d never love me.”

Saying this, Gold started crying and clung to Tunde.

Tunde looked at Amaka angrily. “What was the need to say all this to her?”

Amaka replied with an attitude, “So? Did I say anything wrong? Look at you and then look at her. A girl like her doesn’t deserve you.”

Tunde almost screamed,
“Shut up! Say one more word against Gold and I’ll Destroy you!!!”

Seeing Tunde so angry, Amaka got scared but still said, “Why do you care so much about this girl? You don’t even love her and yet you’re fighting with me over her. Who is she to you?”

Tunde said angrily while looking into her eyes,
“She’s my wife. I married her in front of this whole world. She’s precious for me because she’s my wife; Mind it!!!”

Hearing this, Gold stepped in front of Tunde, glaring at him and scolded, “Oh really… Now I’m your wife… A little while ago, I was just your distant family friend… Why didn’t you say I was your wife then… Were you embarrassed… And now here you are yelling ‘my wife, my wife’ in front of her… You’re such a Panla Face. I’m not your wife, okay?”

While Tunde was struggling to handle Gold, Bukola arrived with Olamide and Rita.

Rita confronted Amaka and asked, “Tell the truth, Amaka. What did you do to Gold? I know you were angry about what happened earlier, but what did Gold ever do to you to deserve this?”

Amaka: “Seriously? Rita, you too are doubting me? You’re my friend first, not Gold’s.”

While this argument was going on outside, a boy came out of the room and seeing the crowd he said, “What’s going on? You all have been arguing outside the room for so long. What’s this noise? Leave from here.”

Then he noticed Amaka and said, “What are you doing here? And why is it taking so long? Where’s the girl? I’ve been waiting for an hour. I swear, she looked so hot in the picture. I can’t hold back anymore.”

Everyone looked at Amaka in shock.

.

Amaka panicked, quickly approached the boy and whispered, “Why did you come out? I told you to stay inside the room.”

The boy said, “You didn’t send the girl yet.”

Tunde intervened and asked Amaka, “Which girl is he talking about?”

Amaka stammered, “How would I know what he’s talking about? I… I don’t know anything.”

Tunde was beginning to understand why Amaka was taking Gold to the room where the boy was waiting.

But when Amaka didn’t respond, Tunde lost control and punched that boy in his face.

That boy fell to the ground. Tunde grabbed him by the collar, lifted him up and threatened, “Tell me the truth. What’s going on here? And which girl are you talking about? Or I’ll mess you up so badly that even your mother won’t be able to recognize you.”

Terrified by Tunde’s anger that boy begged for mercy, “I didn’t do anything. I don’t know anything. I was just paid to spend the night with a girl and take some pictures with her. I was just waiting in the room. That’s all I know. Please let me go.”

Tunde punched him hard again and demanded, “Which girl are you talking about?”

The boy pointed toward Gold and stammered, “This is the girl… yes, it’s her… this is the girl I was paid to spend the night with.”

Everyone was shocked.

Seeing him point at her, Gold held Tunde in fear.

No one could have imagined Amaka could stoop so low. But even now Amaka tried to defend herself, “What nonsense are you spouting? I don’t even know you properly. Why would I pay you to do this with Gold? You’re framing me. Tunde, believe me, please.”

But the boy interrupted, “What? Framing you? Why would I do that? I don’t even know this girl. You sent me her photo right? If you all don’t believe me, check my phone.”

Amaka realized her game was over.

Tunde immediately grabbed that boy’s phone from his pocket.

The boy showed Tunde Gold’s pictures, which were taken at the same event without her permission and the messages sent from Amaka’s number. The boy begged Tunde again, “Please let me go. I was just doing it for the money. This was all Amaka’s plan. She said she would send a drunk girl to the room, and I….”

Before he could finish, Tunde slapped him so hard.

Bukola turned to Amaka and said, “So you deliberately spiked sister-in-law’s drink, which is why she felt dizzy?”

Olamide: “How dare you do something so disgusting?”

Rita also slapped Amaka and said, “I feel ashamed to call you my friend. I never imagined you could stoop this low.”

Amaka tried to defend herself, “I’m sorry… it was just a joke…”

But Tunde interrupted her angrily, “A joke? You call this a joke? Playing with Gold’s dignity is a joke to you? If anything had happened to her today, I would have killed you.”

Turning to Olamide, Tunde said, “Call the police, Olamide. I want both of them into jail.”

Amaka panicked and pleaded, “What? Police? No, you can’t do this Tunde.”

Hearing this, Tunde says, “Fine, I won’t call the police but in return, you’ll have to face a punishment…”

“Okay, I agree, just don’t involve the police,” Amaka requested.

“Spend the night with this guy,” Tunde said, grabbing the collar of that boy who was trying to escape from the scene. “Go and have sex with him!!”

Hearing Tunde’s words, Amaka was shocked and angrily started yelling to him, “What the hell!!!! Are you out of your mind? Why would I sleep with a guy like this? How can you even ask me to do such a thing?”

In response, Tunde pulled the guy closer to Amaka and angrily said, “Why are you objecting now? Sending Gold to this guy was a joke for you, right? Then why can’t you have sex with him yourself?”

“Look, I know I made a mistake, but how can you do this to me?” Amaka said, trying to explain.

But Tunde shouted at her, “Either have sex with him or spend the rest of your life in jail. That’s it!! I don’t want to hear anything else!!!”

“No way!!! you’ve lost your mind! I’m not going to do anything like this!” Amaka said and stepped to leave.

So Tunde directly said to Olamide, “Call the police.”

“Please…” Amaka pleaded again.

Olamide: “You should have thought about that before doing such a disgusting act to sister-in-law.”

Olamide started to call the police, but just then Amaka’s parents arrived.

Hearing about the police, they became worried and asked what had happened.

Olamide explained everything to them. They couldn’t believe their daughter could do such a thing.

They scolded Amaka in front of everyone and begged Tunde and Gold for forgiveness, pleading not to involve the police.

Amaka was terrified of the police, she also started apologizing to Gold, “Please forgive me. I shouldn’t have done this to you. I’m so ashamed.”

Gold was still under the influence, she didn’t fully understand what was happening. But seeing Amaka cry, she felt bad and said, “It’s okay. I’m not angry with you. Please don’t be so upset. Stop crying.”

Then she turned to Tunde and said, “Panla Face, You should forgive her too. Look, she’s crying. Please Don’t make her cry.”

Tunde was unwilling to forgive Amaka, he was so furious that he could have killed her. But seeing Gold’s innocence and kindness, his anger subsided.

Hearing something like this from Gold, Amaka was too overwhelmed with regret, apologized to everyone again.

Only for the sake of Gold, Tunde finally forgave her but warned her never to show her face again. Amaka nodded and left with her parents.

To be continued in the next chapter…

What do you all think? Was it right to forgive Amaka just like that?
