The crowd erupted into loud applause.

Tunde was still holding Gold by her waist, but as soon as the hall lights, which had been dimmed for the dance, turned back on, he let go of her.

Gold blushed and immediately walked away.

However, some people who didn’t know about Gold were confused, wondering who is this girl, that Tunde was dancing with.

Everyone started whispering among themselves about Gold.

Kunle was standing with Daniel, heard these whispers.

He didn’t like what he was hearing and his heart grew heavy.

Daniel understood what was going on. Placing a hand on Kunle’s shoulder, he said, “I know what you’re thinking, but you also know the solution to this problem very well.”

After some time, the function ended.

More than half of the guests had finished their dinner and left for their homes.

Hearing Tunde’s words, Gold looked at him and Tunde winked at her.

Gold snapped out of her thoughts and glared at him angrily.

Tunde was realizing this, he quickly looked around and hurried to the driver’s seat.

Gold was still glaring at him.

Peeking out of the window, he said, “Hey, I was just joking! How long are you going to keep staring at me like you’re about to eat me alive?

Come on, hurry up and get in. We have to leave!”

Gold placed a hand on her forehead in frustration and quickly got into the car, sitting beside Tunde.
