Married to a Stranger — Episode 35 PART A
Episode 35 PART B- What Do I Mean To You?
The next morning, at the hotel:
Tunde Adeyemi woke up and tried to get up but couldn’t because Gold was hugging him in her sleep. Gently, he removed her hand and got out of bed. Soon, Gold also started waking up but she held her head in pain.
As she sat on the bed, she looked around. She startled, “Where am I? What is this place? Who brought me here?”
Looking at her clothes, she sighed in relief, “Thank God, my clothes are fine. That means nothing wrong happened.”
“A lot went wrong…” Tunde entered the room with a tray in his hand, offering her a glass.
“What went wrong? And what’s this?” Gold asked, taking the glass.
“It’s lemonade. It’ll help with your headache. Drink it quickly,” Tunde said.
“How do you know I have a headache?” Gold questioned.
“Oh, come on. Don’t tell me you don’t remember the drama you created yesterday,” Tunde teased.
“Drama? Me? What are you saying?” Gold looked confused.
“You accidentally drank a spiked drink yesterday and it got you completely intoxicated. That’s why you have a headache now,” Tunde explained.
“What… I was drunk?!” Gold shouted in shock.
Tunde nodded and told her everything about what happened the previous night, except the conversations and movements they had in the room. Hearing everything, Gold was deeply embarrassed and apologized.
“I’m so sorry, Mr. Panla Face. I must have troubled you a lot. Please forgive me.”
“First thing, I’m not panla face! And second thing- It’s not your fault. It was Amaka’s disgusting plan. But don’t worry, she will pay for what she did,” Tunde said with anger in his voice.
“Punishment? What kind of punishment?” Gold asked curiously.
“Nothing. Don’t worry about it. Go freshen up; we need to leave for home,” Tunde replied.
Tunde didn’t tell anyone, but he had already taken action against Amaka, using his resources to destroy her business overnight. Actually, Tunde could never forgive Amaka for her actions. Yesterday he had calmed down only because of Gold, but that night itself he had explained everything to his men.
Amaka was running her business with the help of her father’s money. Tunde ruined that company in a moment and also sent her a last warning. He even filed a police complaint against Amaka and that stranger boy. Although everyone had forbidden him from doing such a thing, Amaka had to get the punishment for her actions because Tunde could never forgive her. He believed Amaka deserved it for trying to harm Gold’s dignity.
Tunde was a little surprised that even after knowing everything, Gold did not say anything bad to Amaka or get angry either. She just looked sad and a little scared after hearing everything, nothing else. Last night Tunde thought that Gold was drunk and that is why she was asking him to forgive Amaka, but at this time she was fully conscious.
Well, no matter how much anyone requests, but the question was about the respect of a girl, so how could Tunde sit silent.
Looking at Gold, he thinks in his mind,
“In my presence, no one has the courage to even look at you. You are Tunde Adeyemi’s wife and I will never tolerate anyone’s dirty gaze on my wife!!!! Even though you have no complaint against Amaka, every person who hurts you deserves punishment and I am not going to forgive that person under any circumstances…..”
However, he didn’t tell Gold any of this because she didn’t want to punish Amaka. Gold nodded and went to the bathroom to freshen up. Before going in, she turned and said,
“Thank you for helping me. If you hadn’t come last night, I don’t know what would have happened to me.”
Hearing this, Tunde smiled and said, “Nothing will ever happen to you while I’m here. Don’t worry; everything’s fine now.”
Gold smiled hearing this and went inside, while Tunde sat there recalling the events of the previous night, thinking, “She doesn’t remember anything, not even what happened in the room last night.”
And then he started replaying the movements with Gold in his mind….
